Apartment One - The Library
Apartment One is just off the front porch on Huron Street. The apartment has complete use of the front porch with a porch swing. The Bathroom is one of the original rooms of the house complete with a cast iron, claw foot tub/shower, black and white ceramic tile floor. The main living room was originally the library of the house and has tall ceilings with a paddle fan, decorative tin ceiling, oak floors and built in book cases.
The kitchen is new with oak floors, wood cabinets and ceramic tile counters with mosaic details. The stove is a new gas model. The apartment has a quiet heat pump A/C. The photo of the bathroom is not correct. The bathroom is now white. The rent includes all utilites.
Apartment TWO - The Parlor
Apartment Two is on the first floor and opens out on to the side porch. The two large main rooms with pocket doors used to be the parlor of the house. Close the pocket doors and you have a private bedroom. Tall ceilings, wood floors and two large bay windows make the space light and spacious. The apartment has a quiet green heat pump a/c. There is a high efficiency gas furnace.
The kitchen includes a large kitchen counter and gas range. The bathroom has an antique cast iron bathtub and shower. Custom white wood blinds are included. Gas, electric, and water are included in rent. One parking space is provided in the parking lot and there is a free washer and dryer in the basement.
Apartment Three - The Gallery
Apartment Three has nine foot ceilings, two large bedrooms with closets, a large eat in kitchen with a dishwasher, self cleaning gas range, and free standing island. All the floors in the major rooms are red oak or wood laminate in the bedrooms. The full bathroom has a tub/shower and a private washer dryer in a small closet. Central A/C is included with the apartment. The apartment is all white except the master bedroom which is sage green. The apartment is a large contemporary space on the complete top floor of the building. Tall double windows in all major rooms. LED lighting, track lights and modern light fixtures. The living room is close to 400 Sq Ft with tall beaded fir ceilings. The largest two bedroom apartment we own. High above the world, right in town, parking, a well built historic building and great professional neighbors.
Access to the apartment is through a private interior staircase and a wide fire escape making moving in easier. The largest apartment in the house it is the complete second floor with nine ft ceilings. The apartment is above the world on the Old West Side. This apartment has been a favorite with residents staying an average of four years.

Apartment Four is a charming one bedroom on the first floor and it is rented by a long term resident that has been there for over 12 years.
Apartment five - the Rose garden
The rose garden is a walk out apartment with a private garden on the lower level. Unit five has premium vinyl laminate flooring in the great room and bedroom . Air conditioning, gas stove and creative mosaic details. It is the largest 1 bedroom and approved for an occupancy of two. The apartment has recently been painted white with new light fixtures and sliding patio door that floods the great room with light. Parking is right outside your door. Heat and electric are included in the rent.
